About us
For more than 45 years, Weight Watchers® continues to teach millions of members how to lose weight. A Weight Watchers membership allows you to attend one of almost 50,000 weekly Weight Watchers meetings around the world.
The Weight Watchers Program.
The Weight Watchers program is designed to promote a healthy rate of weight loss, up to 2 pounds a week after the first three weeks or up to 1% of body weight per week after the second week. Rapid weight loss may cause serious health problems. The rate of weight loss varies among people as individual factors; including age, gender, and current weight, affects the rate of weight loss. In addition, you largely control your rate of weight loss by how carefully you follow the Program. Therefore, how long it will take you to reach your weight-loss goals is largely determined by you.
The cost of the Weight Watchers program is limited to the membership fees. Weight Watchers does not require members to sign any contracts upon joining. Members are not required to purchase Weight Watchers products, either those sold at the meetings or in grocery or other retail stores.

Our Staff
All Weight Watchers Leaders and Receptionists are role models because they’ve lost weight on the Weight Watchers program. Before becoming staff members, they complete a training program to ensure their understanding of the Program and to learn their responsibilities as a staff member. They also participate in regular training throughout the year.
At Weight Watchers, staff members know how you feel regarding weight issue because they’ve been through the same challenges.
