Weight-loss success depends on finding a lifestyle that fits who you are. Focusing on portions is important…you will need to burn more calories than what you take in.

How will I burn more calories? Does Weight Watchers have an activity plan?

Start by focusing on the food plan and then we can talk about activity.
We will suggest spending less time sitting and more time moving!
Take the stairs instead of the elevator; park at the far end of a parking lot; get up and turn the channel on the TV.

Will I have to exercise?

Activity is very important in helping to lose weight and sustain a healthy lifestyle.
Activity is an important component, but it can take any form that suits your lifestyle – walking, cycling, gardening, etc. It is important to do exercise or activity that you like and fits within your lifestyle.

The meeting

The weekly meetings are the heart and soul of Weight Watchers. Once you’ve paid your weekly fee, you can attend as many meetings as you want. Each week, a different topic is discussed. The same topic is presented throughout North America, so when you talk to your Weight Watchers friends in other areas, you are all on the same page.
